Plug your ears, kids!

Some of you may have seen the poster around town for yesterday's mid-week party "F*ck the Weekend" at club Escape (www.escape.nl) While I didn't make it, it did remind me of this essay on obscene words recently published by linguist/philosopher Steven Pinker. It is one of the most thorough papers I have seen on obscenity.
